Although we are currently preparing the concert recordings from the premier of the “Living Voices” program in Buffalo NY, we thought we would also share this playlist of previews that we originally posted leading up to that event. For those interested in catching the program in Ohio, this will give you some sense of what to expect! Stay tuned for longer recordings of these works and feel free to check out our media page for sample sounds of Voces past.

Sotto Voce is going on tour!

In less than 2 weeks, Sotto Voce is embarking on our first mini-tour beyond our home city of Buffalo, NY. We will be stopping in both Cleveland and Oberlin, OH over a long weekend to present an extended version of our “Living Voices” program. As both Artistic Director Jessie Downs and tenor Suzanne Fatta are Oberlin graduates or ‘Obies,’ they are excited to share the ensemble’ sounds with friends and mentors in this formative location for so many contemporary musicians. The extended program will also feature an arrangement of an early music piece by another Obie, Mary Larew.
If you are in the Oberlin/ Cleveland area and are interested in contemporary and/ or vocal music, please come check us out!
Program:
